I’m an absolute idiot and all of my individual stock picks have outperformed all of my index funds. Most of my individual stocks pay pretty good dividends too so if I factor that in then it’s not even close. Maybe I’m just really bad at picking index funds.
i mean we are on a bull market everything will make money
but also these stats are a bit bullshit bc many if not investors buy a stock and only open the trading app 3 years later, if you check regurarly you already do more than most
I don’t know I’ve made a lot of money on my individual stocks and triple leveraged ETFs, even though I lost money on stupid biotech companies the gains wayyy outweigh losses
