Sounds like you should just do the work and pay the fines for not getting the permits.
Contractors generally won’t do the work without permits. Good luck DYI tree installation haha. A 2” caliper tree could weigh 1,000 lb.
doesn’t work that way, if you do the work without the permits and they find out then you have to remove any work done.
@jonmyers5729 if youre planting a 1000lb tree youre only polishing the contractor’s /nurserys nob. Planting trees that big is counterproductive. You’re inviting years of transplant shock, root bound growth that will likely never amount to the growth you’d get with a bit more patience and a much smaller (by magnitudes) planting.

Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XA24D rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is XA24D breaks 1, perhaps reaches 10 ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think there’s massive manipulation ahead. If XA24D survives that, well, we’re likely in for a good pump.
