Oh no people have to buy houses to live in them instead of investments lmao

  • @PoliBits-YT says:

NYC did the same like 5 years ago and now no one upkeeps their buildings because there is no incentive to repair things/renovate if you cant get a return on it

    • @slimitless says:

Couldn’t they just sell the building as a co-op or set of condos? Hard to imagine they’d sell at a loss but even if they did, then sucks to suck for capitalizing on a basic human need.

  • @Youngclarke21 says:

Ohh no, investors will have to sell their homes to families instead of hoarding them and jacking up the rents every single year 😢

    • @jackattackhissnack says:

And then the families get crushed by the tax reassessment after the sale and have to sell within a year. Happens all the time around me.

    • @UnderVarosh says:

@jackattackhissnackright and then eventually the real estate market will correct itself to how it should have been without all the artificial greed.

    • @SeanSoraghan says:

Blackrock will buy up thise properties

  • @kevink8204 says:

Landlords want to make a profit. To achieve that not all but many seem to implement increases that are not reasonable. Housing is a basic need in people will always take advantage of that opportunity

  • @qquuiinnoonneess says:

    Good.

  • @Kevinniah says:

Designed not to be lucrative until black rock, state street, and vanguard own them all. Then the laws and regulations will change to benefit them and with their influence they’ll get what they want. Remember the WEF promised us we wouldn’t own nothing by 2030!

  • @tylerdillmore422 says:

owning multiple homes to rent to families who cant afford their own provides nothing to society and shouldnt be lucrative.

  • @Xbeowvzgau says:

It shouldn’t be lucrative to own other people’s homes.
