    I didn’t get my first card until 2019 so from my limited perspective, that’s nothing new.
    Maybe before & after the 2008 Crisis are when things changed.
    I would guess that they’d typically cancel a card after 2 years max. also guessing that non-use gets noticed after 9-12 months. they can lower the limit instead of going straight to the cancel route as well.
    With all that said, I tend to make sure to charge something once a year on the cards I don’t use hardly at all.

    That happened to me during Covid. One day I get a letter in the mail that my credit card was closed. No warning… just closed.

    they cancelled my 2 credit cards because I haven’t used them (0 balance) for a year. I guess I should rotate using my other 15 cards now😬
