I always heard “Dress one step above your prospective client.”
As in, ensure they are comfortable working with you.
A first time buyer is going to relate to you a lot better in a branded polo & jeans. Whereas a luxury listing client may relate to you more in a tailored suit. There is no one size fits all. Its dependent on the client
