i wanna know the profit, I’m always skeptical when people have big numbers and specifically say its before expenses

    • @andrewfrey5562 says:

Even if his cost of production is 75% of his take and he makes on the bottom end of 6 figures, that’s a 25k profit a month. 6 figures is a tough answer to Guage because it could be 100k or 999k which is a pretty broad range. I would imagine he only has maybe 5 people working for him plus studio/office rent/mortgage and utilities. I don’t think he pays his guest, and from what he says avout setting people up on financial plans I would assume he has a ln accountant or financial advisor on the payroll. He probably has a lawyer as well for contracts and legal advice. I saw In one clip from this interview he was trying to get like 8 mil invested as his goal for retirement and had 1/8th in it. So he seems to be doing pretty good.

Come do construction for a month and find out what “grueling” really means…

    • @raymundogalindo3847 says:

Physically and mentally are totally different

    • @saint7626 says:

Just like they probably wouldn’t have the capacity to work construction for a month, the average construction worker probably couldn’t do their jobs for a month. Things are difficult in different ways, but they’re still difficult.

    • @raymundogalindo3847 says:

@@saint7626that’s very true. I’m a GC and I have days and weeks where I’d rather be physically tired than mentally or vice versa.

    • @Becks071 says:

What’s your point? Some jobs mentally and physically wipe you out that don’t require hard labor.

  • @Nick-mg5xl says:

3 hour long episodes a week is grueling? How many hours a week are these guys really working lol

    • @Real_Beaky says:

If they do all their own editing a 1 hour video is probably another 4 hours of production. Probably a few hours per week for scheduling or booking guests. Plus some travel time because I think sometimes the other guy (not Caleb) travels to do his show at the guest’s location. All in though, still less than 40 hours/week. My guess is probably 20-30 plus some travel.

    • @GenesisG70LaunchEdition says:

@@Real_Beakyso wrong! So so wrong! He’s got a team of like 10-15 people now and they are working full time I promise you that!

    • @Real_Beaky says:

@@GenesisG70LaunchEdition I’m not “wrong” because 1) You may notice the first word of my comment is “if” and 2) he’s talking about when he first started which would imply the time BEFORE he had a full professional team. But yes, I’m am fully aware that they have a full professional production team now. Reading comprehension and context clues are important life skills my friend.

    • @rambofirstblood07 says:

Depending on the channel that can be an insane amount of work. I know when Chris Fix came on the podcast he said it averages out for him that every minute of actual video that gets uploaded is about 4 hours of work behind the scenes. Obviously what Chris fix does and what these two is different, but that can give you an idea of how many man hours it can be to get a video up.

    • @ChodyRay says:

9 to 5 is a dream. Try 6 am to 9 pm just about everyday

    • @mousaseblani says:

its not more grueling than running a business, its literally a no brainer you just turn off your brain and move your body in a 9-5, you move around, do some tasks and get your paycheck. You don’t care about the market, profit/loss, government issues, risk of going bankrupt, etc..

    • @zc1682 says:

@@mousaseblani it’s not more grueling than running a new business. The “new” part is important. Established businesses are not as hard for upper management to run as they want it to seem. I’ve been in enough C-Suite meetings to know that.

    • @andreschneider2713 says:

Running a business is very different! You have to think just to generate that content with consistent quality you don’t have ‘off time,’ same as running any business. When work needs to get done, it needs to get done regardless if it’s 10pm or 4am. These guys are easily putting in 80+ hours per week. I ran a company with a smaller team than he has and a 70 hour work week was considered light for me

    • @bantha8470 says:

I love the success but don’t love what the shows turned into. Highly entertaining but it’s like Jerry Springer at this point. It doesn’t even seem people are in their for help but rather attention.

1 hour 3 times a week with a team behind to edit, schedule etc…. Grueling????

  • @nathanhyatt5869 says:

The “grueling” over 3 videos a week 😂. Bro meet kevin was doing 3 videos a day for the last 5 years. Yes what these two do are considered more valuable, but I promise these guys couldn’t out work anyone that’s on a production floor.
