All good and well, but maybe they should start by just letting creators create and quit handing out strikes like candy. Their obsession with censorship is annoying their customer base.

    • @ChangeandPurpose says:

Have to protect the business creators are one part another part is the advertiser’s that pay theirs and the creators salaries. So the main income generating is coming from ads and content needs to fit the what the advertiser’s require , whether they or the creators disagree with it

    • @atari7001 says:

@ChangeandPurpose I know if the creators had the option to fire certain advertisers that cause the strikes and shutdown of their channel, they’d do it.

    • @ChangeandPurpose says:

@atari7001Elon Musk has done this approach for Twitter , he fired moderators and allowed any and all kinds of speech no matter what users said. Advertiser’s left in droves since they regarded the platform as unsafe. YouTube is a business at the end of the day, large advertiser’s such as Coke ,McDonald’s and the like trust the platform. We just have to follow what the platform “YouTube” requires at the end they are here to make money and so are we ,

    My channel is niche

  • @nottNitesh says:

all it takes is a small following / cult

  • @GrandpawTheGreat says:

My Grandson’s YouTube channel has 29 million views and 100K+ subscribers.

  • @gavinferguson says:

its not working for the creators i follow a few have quit to get real life jobs their burning out pushing content every week day !!

  • @FinanceFuelUpOfficiial says:

  • @john_____________l-lll says:

$100k is not enough for major US cities

  • @JoshuaStramiello says:

I would start my own fishing channel. These other ones are better editors than fishermen. Most are just talkers but one guy does it right. Another guy does it well but very niche. Many are popular but not great at it.

We don’t need more tradesmen or doctors, we need more YouTubers!

  • @neonGawdzilla says:

How is YouTube gonna do that when they barely interface with creators? Are they going to suddenly hire a bunch of humans and foster actual relationships between them and creators? I doubt it. it would be the first time in Google history.
