Alex is the man

Brand new agent here. So to be clear he already has an agreement with buyers and is reaching out to homeowners whose home meets the buyer criteria? If so, how does the relationship with the buyers begin?
Alex mentioned in the video that he’s met most of his buyers through cold calling sellers. He explained that he would call a homeowner regarding the potential sale of their home, which at that point, the seller might not be interested in, because it’s an investment property and he plans on keeping it. Then, Alex said he likes to ask if they’re a frequent investor, and if they reply “yes,” he likes to ask to cold call on their behalf and potentially find them a property. This allows Alex to prospect on behalf of the investor. This works great for Alex, because he gets a very reasonable excuse to contact random home owners and be able to make an off market approach to selling (Which most agents can’t offer) and at the same time potentially make a deal for his investor, Win – Win.
