Remember he has also had to pay additional tax on the extra income he generated to pay off that 22 million. Eg if he had generated 50 over the 7 years , he first had to pay current tax of 25 million before using the balance to Pau off the debt. This is not even counting the penalties
Shame he was swindled. I wonder if he could have sued the dead guy’s estate.
Possibly, but the estate is likely broke. Even if broke, he should still sue to get an ironic write off on taxes.
