Buy a Trader Joe’s bag for $2 and after a couple trips to the grocery store you’ve now saved the cost of a plastic bag each time and saved the time of carrying everything in your hands
This, they sell the reusable large bags in heavy duty plastic for a dollar here, bought four of them when they got introduced 5-6 years ago still got them and 2 are still never used…
“Save 50-70% of your income.” Does that mean put that 50-70% in a savings account and leave it, or invest the 50-70% in like S&P 500 Index funds?
Just save enough of it to where you have a 6month emergency fund (based on your lifestyle in case anything goes wrong), invest the rest as much of it as you can
In Canada we already bring reusable bag for groceries. If we forgot, we can pay for paper bag $0.10. There is no more plastic bag here.
Not true depends where you are in just got a plastic bag from a convenience store
@@zackgatopolus9851 OK, maybe it’s a province law. In Quebec, French part of Canada, it’s a law, we can’t ask for plastic bag anymore, only paper or reusable bag.
Creating paper bags are actually worse for the environment than the plastic ones
@@dylanbly3468 paper melts faster after few years. Plastic bag takes forever, like 50 years and more.
Just put it all back in the cart then unload it into your car and use a bag at home or a box to bring it in. That’s wild you would carry it all when there is carts. Or you could take a empty box off a shelf and use that if you’re shopping small 😂
The 10cent thing works because I keep five grocery bags in every car.
And then you forget to take them in when you go to the store. I’m already spending hundreds of dollars on groceries, the extra dollar for bags is ridiculous to fuss over.
I stopped listening to graham because he is painfully too cheap for me to comprehend.
I agree..but he does have some good points.
And that’s why he’s a multi millionaire
@@Bloodthirsty_Ajxxnope his real estate portfolio is why he is a multi millionaire. Crazy thing to say being frugal isn’t necessary when you are making millions every year and are smart with budgeting.
@@Bloodthirsty_Ajxxya he isn’t a multi millionaire cos of this cheap saving it’s about other reasons, other ppl who don’t do this cheap saving and still focus on goals can easily become as rich.
@@Bloodthirsty_Ajxxnope. he made his first bag off flipping houses. those 10 cents a bag saved would MAYBE attribute to $50 saved. a house is 300k+.
This is cringe
Guy has never heard of reusable bags 😂😂
Exactly
My mom been using them forever and they are amazing lmao
Money not that important dude.
Time is money… paying 10 cent to not waste 10 minutes seems like a no brainer to me.
If he can carry it all in his hands he probably doesn’t have much
I was once overcharged for parking and now I can never go back to that city.
Bruh just put that same mental energy to making more money and somehow i feel like that still wouldnt make a difference for you
This isn’t normal… lol
I have a workaround but I’m not sharing it here. I don’t want people ruining the good thing I’ve got going.
He’s about to have some foreign dude really thinking saving ten cents and walking 2 miles is practical, brotha I’m in AZ and its summer you can park 2 miles if you want to you will pass out by the time you get to the bar
This behavior is just straight up irrational
Guy is successful and wealthy and good for him but honestly, being as thrifty as him sounds so painful
And this is why he’s rich already
In norway we have to pay 7 times more than that for the grocery bag. Allmost 1 dollar
This guys is CHEAP af
