That yotta scandal probably took a couple of peoples first 10,000.
What’s that
Was it not FDIC insured?
FTX too
Yea but then u see its actually a very small amount of money…thats why u push further. U see u can afford something like a used car but not the one u want or that if u buy that you end up back at broke again. Slippery slope but one that can help propel you into hustle and save mode.
1 dollar is always better than 0
It was quite a long time ago i passed my first 10k and I 100% agree with most of the stuff and I really don’t get the negative comments. Sure, it does not buy you a lambo, but it could be a down payment for a house, get you out of most troubles and like he said, you’ll be able to take more risk which combined with hard work and a plan, probably are going to get you the next 10 000’s.
If you have 0, well then if your car break down you either stuck or have to take the bus, eat oatmeal 3 times a day etc.
Don’t underestimate this message, even if it’s just a step along the way.
Dude I got 30k in cash and I still feel insecure about money. We have different lives.
I would be insecure too, with 5 years of just putting your 30k in a savings account with 5% interest compounded you would have made 7.5k if you took out the 1.5k out when you got it and more if you let it sit, carrying cash is killing your gains
The way I see it is you are paying a yearly tax on your money just to keep it cash, instead of investing and letting your money make you money for time
@@cutiscalway2921I’m saving it for a ranch to start a cattle llc I’m not sitting on money I’m accumulating money for a business opportunity. I already have other money in stocks, coinage and precious metals. My point was $10,000 isn’t very a powerful achievement. In today’s world it can’t do very much for you.
I got 90K in stock and still feel like a bum
I’ve had just 10k many times and that amount never really changed much for me
Nothing but truth
It’s reassurance for the mindset change. It feels like you discover a whole new world you never thought possible. And it also shows you just how far you have to go and you regret not starting sooner. It’s a roller coaster.
I’m 16 and I just recently saved up my first $10k. Thanks for all the videos graham!
What do your parents do? I didn’t save 10 grand until 35 last year.
@@HORNGEN4nothing to do with my parents job. I have my own job and I’ve had some small side hustles as well.
I’m at 20k at 16 when is your birthday. Mine is August 28th. I am trying to hit 28k by then.
@@ParkerM225 you can’t make that by 16 unless your parents are giving it to you. It’s the first year you’re legally allowed to work lol.
@@HORNGEN4you are held back by your own mentality, up too you to wake up brother
“I could” is the most addictive thing I have ever found in my life
Nah, its honestly not that significant, you might feel different for a week or two but after that its just the new normal
I got 200 bands and its honestly nothing in today’s world
@@alexjoneschannel yea lookin at ur profile, why just lie online. No one cares that you dont have 200k.
You need a few hundred thousand for a house, and a million or 10 to retire. It’s a long way to go.
For me that safety net is double, 20k. Put it in a high interest savings account and forget it exists.
I needed to hear this thanks man.
1mill will elevate your life.
I’ll be real—after finishing Hidden Codex of Wealth by Dorian Caine, my first thought was "how the hell is this book even allowed?" It straight-up ripped apart everything school, family, and society taught me about money. No fluff, no motivational clichés, just hard, raw truths you won’t hear anywhere else. Now I get why this book isn’t mainstream—it’s too real. If you find it, grab it before it’s gone.
Man, I thought I knew the rules: work hard, hustle, save every cent. But I always felt stuck. Then someone casually mentioned Hidden Codex of Wealth by Dorian Caine in a comment somewhere, and I swear—it felt like accidentally stumbling onto forbidden knowledge. It made me question every single thing I’d been taught about money, wealth, and success. Not gonna lie, I felt like I was cheating the system just by reading it.
The door opens at 100k, trust me
I agree. I hit 100k last January, and now I’m at 150k. Insane progress.
When I was 25 I bought a house and had 25k left over. Not long after that my business vehicle got broken into and they stole $12k worth of tools.
Bought all the tools back. Then my car’s engine blew. Bought a used car for $13k cash. 2 months later the transmission blew. I had no funds left.
Went out to ford and financed a new truck. 3 years later the truck has 133k miles and now I have $25k saved. Never buying a used car cash again
Then you lose it because you decide to invest with a company pitched by a financial YouTuber that you trust…
I reached my first $10,000 and then lost it all in a year just on having to move, car needing work and a surprise surgery. Literally $8,000 gone in 4 months. $10,000 is not enough anymore but better than no savings
