They are talking about OWNERS. Not actual workers
Not true
Negative homie but to be fair they are working ungodly hours for it
@@jeffjeffrets3253also not true, depends on where you live but in Oregon if you’re an electrician in a union your minimum pay once you’ve journeyed out is 62 dollars an hour. Plumbers and hvac are in the 50’s. So 40 hours a week gets you 6 figures
Owners are making millions.
Where did you get this information from lol
There’s a give a take with anything. Those in the trades make more money sooner but don’t last as long in their respective fields because of the physical strain as they get older. They also are more likely to go into medical debt.
If you are smart about it and take care of yourself trade jobs can be very rewarding.
Stretch every day, work out, don’t drink, don’t smoke, eat healthy, while you work, wear great shoes, protect your joints. Have your fun at weddings, and on vacation, the rest of the time, stay disciplined, and you will be just fine in the trades.
Reinvest your money early and then slow down when you get into your mid-40s.
Nuance matters. My father was a car mechanic. His body is broken and he had to retire early because of that. I don’t remember my dad not being in pain honestly. He encouraged all his kids to get degrees and my brothers are in banking and engineering. A lot less painful on the body and they make a lot more money than my father ever did.
My husband is an engineer and makes 150k (with bonus). It allows me to be home with our kids and yes we will encourage our kids to get degrees. As for those in trades making a ton of money. I’m pretty sure that’s for those that have a small business. Not working for someone
Dropped out of college into trucking. Clearing about $190k this year. Only debt is a $10k Harley and about to mortgage $300k on a new home build.
I can confirm with 100% certainty that the vast majority of truckers will never make this kind of income
Explain to me how you make $190K. So I can better myself.
I work in maintenance where we also have an HVAC team of 4 people. The highest paid person is a supervisor and he’s making around $75k per year. I dont believe 100k is the norm for most HVAC employees. Also, did a little more research and found the average HVAC position(in my area at least) is making around $58k per year. Not exactly 100k…
I made 160k last year as a commercials service plumber.
Keep trading time for money and stay poor
Think about it forcing people down a direction
I mean 50k is less than McDonald’s soooo…
In HVAC were making 100000 year to install.. The owners are multimillionaires!
Yeah well people out of college can make 6 figures and sometimes 7 so there is no comparison
The fact that the guy said no student loans shows that he has no clue what he’s talking about. My question is how is he making a video like this if he doesn’t understand that kids need to pull money to get into some trade school
My friend is a plumber makes 66k y’all calm down
