Not sure how aquiring Greenland makes it more likely that those resources would be developed quicker. Is Denmark actively stopping there development? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to subsidized a company to develop the mines?

Rare earth minerals aren’t especially rare. They just take a lot of high-energy, high-pollution processing to concentrate them to usable levels.
It would take decades to actually get those resources from Greenland. The idea that mining and processing plants would begin instantly is a joke.
