Wealthy people tend to be married because they are older and divorced people is ripped in half and even they business can be ruined because of it…

  • @phytorjackpack5543 says:

having to pay only one shared rent instead of two individually has absolutely nothing to do with how married people might have more disposable income, right?

  • @gergo7507 says:

    Yeah it’s correlation not causation

    • @callmegary2622 says:

Eh I doubt it. If u married u live in the same place. Ur expenses are shared, u save on rent, on cars, you hold each other accountable etc… marriage in it of itself seems to help build wealth

    • @gergo7507 says:

@@callmegary2622but those things would also be true for a couple who just lives together but doesn’t get married. I’m pro marriage, I’m just saying that the act of getting married doesn’t change much

  • @brandonevans2588 says:

I certainly had more money when I was married. Divorce will kill your wealth real quick.

    • @eddiemalvin says:

Yep, I learned that the hard way.

Thankfully, I got remarried to someone who earns as much as I do. Life is so much easier now.

  • @johnathanvale8634 says:

it’s kind of like comparing people that go to college to people that don’t go to college. would Graham be any richer if he went to college? obviously not.

  • @AngeloBonaveraArt says:

What a positive/short term view on marriage. Marriage = divorce and the b takes your money. That’s why wealthy clueless men get married more.

  • @thefriendliestgamer4103 says:

I want to watch this interview to see the debt guy vs the no debt guys

  • @adamyusuf3298 says:

I believe it acrually does because usually pwople married and those who decide to have kids typically are forced to work harder thus creating more and demanding more wealth

  • @jbd0217 says:

    It’s correlation AND causation..
Graham is correct that it is a characteristic of commitment.. however a married couple with either make more money with 2 incomes.. or at very least a traditional marriage enables one partner to focus more on career and growth when the home is well managed and cared for.

  • @richardnavarro6572 says:

Is that a father daughter or a husband and wife?

  • @tiffyfemboy says:

Maybe it is because, if you sum BOTH people moneys, means you’re more richer than alone…. and if you divorce, you do get less money than marriage… yeah.
