I call bull on this because the weekends are fast and I do new stuff all the time but the week days feel like 2 weeks for me.

  • @illbeyourhuckleberry6484 says:

I’m thinking, I’d rather just sit in the presence of God

  • @MsMikeyboy23 says:

It’s also about creating routines and weekly schedules that you can enjoy, and at the end of a long day coming home and having something to look forward to

  • @kyleuntch says:

Also why car rides seem faster on the way home from a road trip rather than on the way to the destination. While you are on your way to a new place, your brain is being introduced to so many new things it distracts you and makes it seem like the drive is taking forever. On the way home, you are just seeing all the same things you already saw, so it seems to go faster. Good observation!

I don’t think what he’s saying is quite right, though I’m guessing he means that when something happens out of ordinary, it is more memorable. Routines make details of specific days harder to apart and mesh together memories.

  • @sasquatchman0012 says:

    This is the explanation

  • @ChadDrake4185 says:

I think life becomes more enjoyable as you get older. Much more grateful as you age. Enjoying things fly by. Hence weekends, holidays, and vacations flying by.

Go do something you hate and see how slow that goes by.

  • @hbkkidcorrupt says:

Very good insight.Makes sense.Go do something!
